Today Bosnia-Herzegovina celebrates its 20th anniversary of its independence, but only the Bosniak population which claims that loves the country will celebrate the independence of B-H,since Serbs celebrate the creation of Republika Srpska on the 9th of January, while Croats celebrate the creation of the Croatian Community of Herzeg-Bosnia on the 18th of November.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is the country where I was born, but in two decades of its independence has achieved little or nothing, besides the war which lasted for three years (1992-1995) in which 99000 people were killed and destroyed the country,Bosnia-Herzegovina is looking more and more like the failed nation building projects of Iraq and Afghanistan, but according to the International Community which is represented through the Office of the High Representative the nation building project in Bosnia-Herzegovina in which they have invested their time and will mustn’t fail. The IC has its supporters of this nation building project among the Bosniak leadership which is led by Bakir Izetbegović (son of Alija Izetbegović,chairman of the Party of Democratic Action,Bosniak member of the Presidency),Islamic Community led by the Wahhabi friendly Reis Ulema Mustafa Cerić and the Bosniak population which makes up to 48% of the population, but lives in the 22% of the territory and claims that they love B-H.
On the other hand there are the Serbs (37% of the population in B-H,49% of the territory) which have the entity of Republika Srpska and they are led by Milorad Dodik which threatenes with secession and wants to keep a status quo, even in some cases they support the establishment of the third Croatian entity and the Croats which live together with the Bosniaks in the Federation of B-H (Croat-Bosniak entity) and currently have a leadership crisis. They are the oldest, smallest (13% of the population of B-H,29% of the territory) and the unhappiest nation in B-H which strives to have its own entity but because some of their politicians are puppets of the Bosniaks like Zvonko Jurišić from the Croatian Party of Rights B-H and Mladen Ivanković-Lijanović from the People’s Party Work for Betterment or corrupt and lazy like Dragan Čović from the Croatian Democratic Union B-H or Božo Ljubić from the Croatian Democratic Union 1990,they are discriminated and their numbers are declining. It is estimated that if continues like that Croats in B-H will extinct in the middle of this Century, bringing the 1400 year Croatian presence to an end.
Bosnia-Herzegovina has one of the most complicated constitutions in Europe due to its ethnic and religious divides, but Belgium which is also a multiethnic and an artificial state doesn’t have a complicated constitution like B-H.Also it is a constitution which discriminates the Croatian population, sounds bizarre but Bosniak voters choose the Croatian member of the presidency. The Dayton Agreement sign in 1995 which ended the most bloodiest war in Europe after WWII has brought peace, but it didn’t bring political stabilization. On the 28th of December 2011 after 14 long months of negotiations Bosnia-Herzegovina got a government which is led by Vjekoslav Bevanda from the CDU,but that is because of the multiethnic Social Democratic Party which again thanks to the votes of the Bosniak voters won the seat of the Croatian seat of the presidency and its demands for the Croatian positions in the government have ruined everything and in the end they gave up after 14 months of fighting.
Besides the constitution which is a straight-jacket and political problems which are constant o the national and local level, the country has enormous economic problems. It didn’t fully recovered from the war which destroyed the economy and due to the political crisis, its rating is slashed, unemployment is 43%,public debt is at 40% of the GDP,the grey market is a notable source of income for traders,it is the worst country in Europe to do business (ranked 125th Ease of Doing Business by the World Bank),not to forget that it depends on reconstruction assistance and humanitarian aid from abroad and it has a negative trade balance due to a weak industry. The Croat-Bosniak Federation of B-H is on the verge of bankruptcy and 7000 businesses have closed, while Republika Srpska is on the road towards a recession after years of economic growth.
Like Kosovo which is a failed state and an exporter of Islamism, the same can be said for Bosnia-Herzegovina.Currently Wahhabis in B-H operate in 27 different locations across B-H and they are protected by the Islamic Community of B-H which is led by the Wahhabi friendly Reis Ulema Mustafa Cerić which has allowed the spread of Wahhabism and the Bosniak leadership led by Bakir Izetbegović.The Wahhabis have become a threat not just to the Croats and Serbs in B-H,but also to the secular Muslim Bosniak community, but no one in the Islamic Community of B-H and the Bosniak political leadership doesn’t have a will to protect them, instead the Bosnian authorities will react like in the end of October 2011 when Mevlid Jašarević,a Bosniak from Sandžak fired on the US Embassy in Sarajevo.Currently Jašarević is on trial, but the raid which happened in Gornja Maoča which is Wahhabi hotspot in B-H in the end of January was a scam.It is revealed by Dževad Galijašević which a counter-terrorism expert that it was a joint drill by the Bosnian police and the Wahhabis planned for months to show to the International Community that the country fights terrorism.
In recent years Bosniak Wahhabis are causing problems across the World, their headquarters is in Vienna and the money comes from there to fund Muslim Autonomous Regions which practice Sharia law in B-H.After the success in Gornja Maoča,Bosniak Wahhabis from Vienna have bought the village of Gornja Dubnica near the city of Kalesija in Northeastern B-H.A number of Islamists from B-H were arrested abroad due to terrorism which included Anes Šubašić which was a member of the Raleigh jihad group which planned terror attacks, while Sulejman Talović which is from Cerska (East Bosnia) was the perpetrator of the shooting at the Trolley Square Mall in Salt Lake City in which he killed five people and injured four other before he was killed by the police.
Trolley Square massacre 1
Trolley Square massacre 2
Trolley Square massacre 3
The International Community in B-H has grown impatient and tired because it invested time and its own will so B-H could become successful, but B-H looks more like a another nation building failure than a successful country.Recently two former politicians which held the position of the OHR which are Wolfgang Petrisch from Austria and Paddy Ashdown from the UK have become “worried” that the country due to federalization might collapse, but both of them were puppets of the Bosniak leadership and both of them are responsible that Croats are relegated in a second-class status.Under Petrisch, the Croat population has suffered from his measures which have lowered the Croatian presence in the government of B-H,while under Ashdown which gave the city of Mostar a statute which the Constitutional Court of B-H proclaimed unconstitutional, has discriminatied the Croats in Mostar a city which they have a clear majority. But the OHR began to leave the country, recently they have closed their offices in Mostar next it will be the offices in Brčko and Banja Luka and it will operate from Brussels.Croatian political comentator Nino Raspudić stated that when the OHR abandons B-H then the country will collapse and Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats will proclaim secession from the government in Sarajevo.
There is nothing to celebrate in B-H besides the country celebrates the 20th anniversary of its independence, but only the Muslim Bosniaks will celebrate.A country which has one of the most complicated constitutions, which is an artificial country and the flag of this artificial country is taken from the logo of the Varta batteries doesn’t have a future and it is heading towards collapse, but let it be peacefully this time.
The end of Bosnia-Herzegovina?

Well, from the perspective of historical justice, BiH is technically Croatia for the most part. The Serbs are there from the 17th century, correct me if I’m wrong), onward because Ottoman authorities gave preference to Orthodox populations. It viewed Catholics within its borders with suspicion, fearing them to be potential spies for the Pope, so to speak.
It was tough to be a Catholic in the Ottoman realm, unless you were some kind of a Venetian trader with commercial value, and most Catholic Croats fled to Sibenik, Split, etc. The rest “chose” to convert to Islam.
The Muslims in Bosnia were referred to as “Hirvat” and Croatian, not Bosnian. Moreover, the “Hirvat” language was prominent(thanks to a wealth of military officials from Bosnia) in the Ottoman court, not Bosnian. Bosnia was the name given to the eyalet.
It’s one thing for those “Bosniaks” to cluster together on religious grounds, but it’s quite another for them to invent an ethnicity out of the blue on those same grounds.
Of course, we also have to keep in mind Tomislav’s realm and what that encompassed.
You’re aposolutely correct, but most of the Croat Catholics due to persecution fled B-H or converted to Islam or Orthodoxy. So we have now this mess in B-H.
The “Macedonians” of FYROM have also invented an ethnicity for themselves. Just like that of the “Bosniaks”‘s, theirs also happens to coincide with the name given to the eyalet encompassing the territory they live in.
Even a mediocre student of Balkan history is keenly aware that most of today’s FYROM is actually “Old Serbia”. In fact, FYROM was the heart of Dushan’s Serbian kingdom with its capital situated in Skopje, not Belgrade. Marko Kraljevic, the Serbian equivalent of Buffalo Bill was also a “Macedonian”.
But unlike the Bosniaks, the Macedonians are a bit more creative in their approach. They assert to be the living, breathing and sole descendants of Alexander the Great aka Makedonski. Maybe this is factually incorrect, but apparently they believe themselves to be speaking the same language as the deceased one! No, I don’t believe the Greeks in Thessalonika reserve any more right to such arrogant claims, but FYROM’s propaganda arm is overboard if you ask me.
The Bosniaks have tried similar experiments, but on a smaller scale and to no avail, as in the case of the Bosnian Pyramid.
Don’t mean to repeat myself here, but at least the Bosniaks have a rationale in their invention. What rationale, may I ask, do the FYROMians have given their cordial relationship with Serbs and Serbia?
The Bosniaks don’t know who they are,for example Reis Ulema Mustafa Cerić claims that Turkey is the mother of the Bosniaks and that Mehmet II The Conquer is the father of the Bosniak nation, but for centuries Bosniaks have called themselves Croats of Islamic faith. In 1945 the Communists which won in Yugoslavia have given to the Bosniaks the name Muslims, while they became Bosniaks when Alija Izetbegović supported by a group of intellectuals over the night gave them that name.
For me it sounds bizarre about the Macedonians and Alexander The Great had the title Macedonian because from the Greek province Makedonia which to this day is a part of Greece, but Macedonians claim that they have relatives in the Greek province of Macedonia, but this is incorrect. The “Macedonians” of FYROM are the ethnic relatives of the Serbs and through history todays FYROM was Southern Serbia.
In this bizarre story of invented nations we could mention the “Palestinians” and the “Pakistanis”.There is no historical evidence that “Palestinians” exist as for the “Pakistanis” their descendants were Hindus which converted to Islam.
Turkey is the mother of the Bosniaks? Actually, Muslim Croats/Bosniaks are the fathers of Turkey—or at least a % of them.
We left out the most obvious case from our analysis: Turks are also an invented nation in existence since 1922. The country was in large part formed by Muslim refugees from the Caucasus, Middle East, and the Dinaric/Balkan, and Greece regions in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Plus, thousands of renegades from Western Europe(Ligurians, Dutch, etc.) settled in Western Anatolia during the Osmanli period.
Well, what about the Turkish language? This Alatic-like language was actually spoken by the impoverished and politically insignificant peasantry in Central Anatolia for much of the Ottoman period. But they themselves weren’t Altaic. They shared 90% of their cultural, genetic, and other traits with Kurds and Arabs. They just hapenned to inherit the language from the Turkic-speaking nobility back in the Seljuk era.
Thanks for the information
LOL If this fake eyalet nation trend continues, I wonder if we’ll ever see a “Silistrian” nation, given the existence of the Silistra Eyalet in the past.
